Scoring
Your exam is first scored by the computer, and then by the National Council’s testing service. Typically, you can expect to wait a month to receive the results, which are sent by your state board of nursing.
What Happens if You Fail?
If you happen to fail, a diagnostic profile stating the areas in which your performance was satisfactory and the areas in which your performance was not satisfactory will be sent by your state board of nursing via mail.
You are allowed to take the NCLEX exam as many times as you have to, although you will have to wait 91 days before you are eligible to take the test again.
